Vila Viktoria is a standalone house in the very heart of Piran. Three bedrooms over two floors sleep six, with a bathroom and a half between them, so a family or a group of friends has room to spread out — space to gather, and space to step away. It is an old family home, with thick stone walls and the lived-in feel of a place that has stood here for generations, its two floors joined by an interior stair.
The kitchen is fully equipped, which counts when you are feeding six and a night out for everyone soon adds up. Bed linen and beach towels are provided, so you travel light and head straight for the water, and dogs are welcome too. The bus station is only 200 metres away, so you arrive without a car and walk in through the narrow stone lanes that give the old town its character.

The old town begins at the front door. Tartini Square, the oval marble heart of Piran, is a few minutes away, with the Venetian House on one corner and St. George’s Church on the rise above the rooftops. Climb to the town walls for the long view across the bay, or spend an hour in the Sergej Mašera Maritime Museum and the town’s salt and seafaring past.
From the square the seafront path rounds Punta, the tip of the peninsula past its lighthouse, to the quieter swimming at Fiesa. The same coast leads on to Portorož, with its sandy beaches and spas, the Sečovlje salt pans still worked by hand, and the cliffs and clear water of Strunjan — each an easy half-day out, and most of them reachable by local bus from the edge of town.
